On April 15th 2025 at approximately 1609 hours the Waretown Volunteer Fire Company was dispatched to the Garden State Parkway for a reported overturned vehicle. Rescue Engine 3631 responded and located an overturned vehicle down an embankment in the trees. Upon investigation, it was determined that the sole occupant of the vehicle had self-extricated with assistance from the New Jersey State Police

Crews from 3631 assisted with patient care and packaging by utilizing a stokes basket and moving the patient up a steep embankment and then secured the vehicle.
