Gather your team of 8-10 people and prepare to pull Waretown Fire Companys 33,000lb Brush Truck a total of 50ft in under 5 minutes! Busy Day for Waretown Fire Crews
Waretown Fire, October 29
1st Call- at 11:57 Station 36 was requested to assist Stafford Fire (Station 47), and other mutual aid departments for a reported structure fire at Southern Ocean Medical Center. Reports were that there was smoke showing. 3600 (Chief) and crews from 3601 (engine) went to work on the roof of the new construction. Crews were released around 1:45PM

Smoke Investigation Bryant Road North of Wells Mills Road
Waretown Fire, October 27
On October 27, 2024 at 9:45 AM Waretown Fire Department, Forked River Fire, and the NJ Fire Service was alerted to smoke in the woods off Wells Mills Road in the area of Bryant Road. 3600 (Chief), 3610 (Deputy Chief) arrived on location at Wells Mills Road and Bryant Road to direct crews. 3619 (Brush) and 3601 (engine) arrived. Early Morning Driving Mishap
Waretown Fire, September 30
The early morning of Sept 30 (0508) the Waretown Fire Company was called to Corliss Park Lake for a vehicle in the water. Chief Leaming and Deputy Chief Hurley arrived on location and found a vehicle near the dam, off the road and the front end into the water. The Waretown Volunteer Fire Company's 7th Annual Junior Fire Academy has kicked off!
Recruits of the Junior Fire Academy have participated in tons of hands on activities including advancing hose-lines, ladder throws and placement, search and rescue and even arson investigation!
